Daizans are good (thats what I did) but I would just buy new Supra TT LCA's.

how much of a difference would it make getting bushings rather than the whole control arm from lets say a tt?

All i gotta say is it's a b**** to get the old bushings out.. involves a lot of hammering out and you gotta use this pressure machine (don't know what the machine is called) to get em in there.

i posted on another thread but maybe u can help... imma have to post this on several threads to get more attention... a lot of ppl on here are miss informed so i want my mistake to not happen to other ppl...

ok i bought prothane kit upper and lower control arm bushing kit from jeggs. it comes with all bushings for the front upper and lower control arms. it has, dont know the exact name, these long metal washers where the screws pass thru for the upper. the kit does not bring these washers for the lowers. Also the kit does NOT come with the metal barrel (cup) that the bushing goes into before going into the lower control arm.

my mechanic took the arms to a machine shop to have the bushings press out, and on the lower controll arm they bent the little metal barrel (cup). what do i do....lol

the goldish peice..... in the picture provided, these cups are from the daizen kit which comes with these pieces.

everyone on here that keeps saying that both kits are the same are wrong... the daizen kit, from my understanding, comes with everything u need to replace... the prothane kit is missing parts. the parts missing ur suppose to use ur stock ones...

lca long metal washers where the screw passes thru... missing (use stock one)
lca metal barrel inserted before the bushing... missing (use stock one) ????

It depends on the kit that you have. Some kits require that you need the metal thing and some don't. I got mine from lexus/toyota directly.. and i had my bushings completely pressed out. Didn't keep any of the metals D: Sorry if that didn't help ya... im no expert heh.
