Can anybody show me a DIY or a module I can buy to do the '99 SC DRL to my '95 SC400?? I've been searching high and low and left and right but I can't find a clear instruction on how it is done. Thank you in advance!
I can easily do that if I want to, but I'm aiming for the stock look since I'm gonna change my high beams into LED 9005/HB3 bulb since we rarely use the high beam for like long drives or flashing, I mean no need to put HID like some people and just for a change.
I've never seen any instructions on how to do it to be honest. Do the DRL's use the same bulb as the high beams? I've never seen a 99+ SC in person.
From what I've researched so far, it's gonna use the same light for the high beam, but it's not gonna produce the same light intensity on DRL mode, like have the voltage or something. Then, when you switch to either park or switch on the headlight it will shut off automatically.
But what I'm aiming for is for it to work as a DRL, but also as a park light at night, but still not that bright off course unless you switch it on(the bright switch)..
If I can't find an OEM DIY intrsuctions I'm just gonna buy a relay from the GS and just figure out the wiring later on... I'm just asking ahead of time 'cause '92-'00 Canada released SC's have this feature aready according to the manual but it only came out standard in US 'til '99...Dang
Have anybody tried to install these? I'm planning to do it next month, I'm gonna try if it would work for our year SC's, I called them up already, and they said it's a complete DRL module and just plug and play for a 9005 high beam light and would automatically turn on when on D and shut off when low beams are turned on. And also the whole kit comes with 2 6K 9005 28 LED bulb. http://www.v-leds.com/Vehicle-Specif...-p9167453.html
Lol I have a 99 and I need to disconnect mine. I'm just not a fan of the high beams on during the day I usually just keep my low beams on at all times.
