Default Interior Lighting Rampage

I think our SC's are still one of the best looking cars on the road today. Just adding some wheels and a drop can make the exterior look great and modern. The interior, although clearly dated compared to new Lexus' is still very nice with a luxurious feel even by today's standards...

BUT, all that 90's green lighting has to go!

I had done all the Dome/door/etc LED upgrades and decided to keep on going.

Climate and Radio sent to Lextech to get pretty new white faces [not racist]

I debated very long on weather or not to do blue displays, but ultimately felt it would be a bit too wild/ricey/whatever you wanna call it for my tastes. So I added just a little bit of blue myself and I am loving it!

Also did temp/volume *****, ETC switch, and windows switches.

Very happy with the outcome, but there is still more work to do. The Pioneer face is not quite as bright as the CC but not a big deal. The green buttons bother me, but once I get a carputer in there, everything will look real nice!

Only things left are Gear indicator lights and the Cluster-which will be getting the "blue waterfall" treatment.

Let me know what you think!

For the climate control i think theres just 3 bulbs for the buttons, and then 5 "indicator lights" (the blue ones)

can you post a DIY on changing out the LEDs? Also the source and led sizes? I hate how dull the lighting looks inside my interior and its a 97 :/

The only part I did myself on the climate was the blue LED's. I could have done the display and button lights myself but was more than happy to pay Lextech/OLT to do it right. When done yourself, it is easy to have "Hot spots" and uneven light distribution. I think it was only like $55 too. I'm more than pleased.

I will try to find the link to the DIY I followed this evening when i get home.

They look awesome! I would like to swap all of my lights out too! How difficult was it to do everything minus the climate control?

Yes I did. Temp and volume are easy. 4 neo wedge bulbs size t3.
i ordered all my leds from superbrightleds so thats what im basing the sizes off of.

If by door lights you mean window and lock switches, thats a bit more of a project, gotta solder in individual LEDs. Wasnt too bad really, I had never soldered before and I made it work so it cant be too hard hah.

heres the DIY i followed..soarercentral's how to section is a great resource!

I am loving how it looks, much more modern. Only half way there though.
