Question All dash warning lights on

Hello. Almost all the dash warining lights which appear upon acc/on turn of the key, will appear when the sc300 is accelerated past 4000rpm. Has anyone else had this problem, or know of the whereabouts to begin looking before i delve into it. It's not the battery, nor the alternator, these are new.

I would, but I'm not American, so if I was 'going back' wouldn't be going back to near you haha. Sorry

im not sure but it sounds like you should get it looked into by a mechanic.

Does your engine start to act funny at that rpm as well?

If performance and everything seems fine it could just be some minor electrical issue

It's ok I've got more skillz then the average mechanic anyway
I'm thinking it may be a sensor or something along those lines, because there is no engine play it runs like normal, no odd sounds, no transmission problems. As soon as it hits the max torque area around 4000rpm they pop up :s

Instead of me searching through the engine bay, I was hoping someone else had an answer for this problem. Doesn't seem too common.

no ive never heard of it happening.

since your engine is working fine i wouldnt be worried about it too much.

do they all turn off once the car goes back under 4000rpm?

Its the rev limiter, due to emissions regulations the ECU cuts fuel instead of spark.

Yeah and that shouldn't do anything to the car. So still wondering if anyone had this issue...

Ya, that's wierd. Maybe that's how the Soarer's work when you hit ur limiter/cut-off. Almost sounds like you disengaged the limiter/cut-off but the car still thinks something is wrong, so your dash lights up? I have no idea really..
