Seriously thinking about tossing in an aluminum 5.3 in my SC on the cheap.
send me a PM and I can get you the mounts from DGR.....you can see my feedback or search my name if you need references. OR you can go straight to them. Up to you.

No updates yet. Life has been keeping me out of my garage, but going to try and find some time this weekend. As for the clutch master, Im going to try the stock SC, but if for some reason it doesnt provide enough pressure, Wilwood will take over.

Actually after looking a bit more, I have decided NOT to use the OEM clutch assembly parts. Im going to go with a Wilwood floor mount clutch pedal, and am currently looking at the floor mounted brake pedal set as well.

And for the price compared to the oem parts, ill take the challenge on...I might even go as far as a full floor pedal setup.

Just out of curiosity, why not use the factory pedals? Seems like it would be a lot easier and cleaner. Floor mounted pedals are kinda go-kart, dune buggy simple and dirty. They also seem more comfortable in cars with high seat positions IMO.

I will make sure they are installed in a nice clean fashion. But simply putting it, guess I'm willing to go with the floor pedals to keep the car different, also there is less mounting hardware required, i can use a much shorter clutch line.

Won't cost me much more than the pedals, cause any fabrication needed, won't cost me anything. I have plenty of materials on hand to do a brake and clutch pedal box, so that's not an issue. Only concern is clearance for the master cylinders, but I doubt it's going to be an issue.

I am FINISHING the wire harness today!! No more BS'ing, the weather is nice, its comfortable in my garage, and Im sick of waiting.

Will be picking up a new oil filter and oil tomorrow, along with some coolant, and going to see how the initial start up goes. Updated pics will be up later tonight
