Not yet. Ive been kinda slacking the last few days, but been working on the harness extension. Going to try and finish it up this week.

 

What are you doing for your diff and driveshaft? Got any pics of the cut subframe?

 

Right now the stock auto diff is going to stay, driveshaft shopping will commence very soon, but more than likely Driveshaftshop.com will handle that. As for the sub-frame, no pics of it cut right now, but will be getting the material to modify it this weekend and will try and get it all welded together by mid-next week.

^^I had seen that before, and the thing that won me over on the MK4, is they kept the stock airbox in place. If I still had my stock intake, I would probably do the same and keep it BFI.

 

Wish I had the skill/confidence to dive into a project like this with my SC400. Maybe when theres no choice and her engine gives - 215,000 strong.

As for updates, I know a few have been waiting on news about the harness and a/c controls, well the harness will be finished this weekend, and the car will be started. I have been trying to get it done, but life tends to take over at times.

the lsx series motors are the best drop in motors out.... turbo lsx or 2jz????? i would pick lsx. its lighter, more displacement, more torque, sounds sexy!, for a v8 gets pretty good gas mileage stock.
