Interior swap
should b gettin my ride within a week. and i want to get the interior swapped out for black. and i hav a few questions.
could i use black seats from another lexus or toyota? or would it be easier to re-wrap the seats already there.
also, for the dash. the carpet covers are out of question. so how would i possibly change that to black.
the wood grain trim is gettin carbon fiberd(not real c.f. just a high quality wrap) so i have no issue with that.
but the door panels on the passenger is cracked in spots. do i just have to buy a new one?
please excuse my novice, im new to interior work...

In all honesty you will spend a lot of money on this swap, and won't get any of it back when you go to sell it. At some point it is almost smarter just to sell the car and buy an SC with a black interior.
Most people here use the SEMS dye on their cars. Some people are happy with how it looks, but it isn't overly impressive to me. 99% of the time you can tell it is dyed, which to me is a big no-no.
Everyone says they will keep their cars forever, but very rarely anyone does. So just remember that all the money you spend on swapping the interior to black is pretty much wasted when you try to sell it. So if it costs you $2000 to do the swap completely, then I hope that $2000 was worth it for your own personal enjoyment.
Good luck, and where in OK are you?
