Default FYI: Short Shifter

Just wanted to let all you W58 5speed guys know that there is an option for a short shifter. Check out suprasport.com. They have a shifter that seems to work really well. It shortens all movements and all motions are really snappy. The price is reasonable for a brand new shifter with all the bushings necessary. $300

Cons:
I do have to say that the 1 month it took to receive was a little annoying. Apparently these are made when ordered in batches.
The company is extremely difficult to reach on the phone, but they respond to email within 24 hours.
The final location of the shifter is actually quite a bit to the left which is ok, but unexpected.

In all I'm quite happy to have the short throw and the lower height.

question is, will this work with the pre 95 SC w58s? aka the internal shifter w58.

C's shifter, TRD quick shift, and many others have plenty of short shifter for mk4/95+ sc w58s.

The shifter he's talking about is for all 'top-loader' W58 and R154, not 95+ models.

It's height adjustable which seems cool.

We should try to compile little 10 sec. vid's of the throws and height of the different shifters on different yr. sc's...Im guessing I might have to be first one when I get mine in 2 or 3 weeks. Lets see what I can get rolling for all future references.

edit: OP, it was 300 in total after shipping charges and all? or...not? Anywho, congrats on finding another short shifter, all ive ever heard of was C's and TRD.
