hood latch wont open!!! help!!!

Default hood latch wont open!!! help!!!
hey guys i recently drop my car, and i guess the wheel eat up the latch cable. now i cant open my hood to adjust the stiffness of my coils. is there another to open my hood? thanks guys!!

instead of pulling the latch, pull the cable itself. I think that might work

I tried that. I think it's not connected to the latch.

Have you had problems with it before the incident? Try pulling the cable with some pliers like Vincent said and have someone pull up on the hood itself. If the cable isnt attatched to the latch, GL...

If you can't reach up through the bumper from below to operate the latch, and you can't intercept the cable ahead of where it's broken to pull it, then IDK... can opener time?!!

ok guys, i was able to get under the car and see if i can open it from there. i think the cable seems to still be there.... do you guys know if the release is triggered electronically?
