Default Parking light upgrade

I'm trying to replace my old parking light which hardly does anything at all...
But I'm trying to figure out which bulb is the correct replacement.
Is it the 168 bulbs that look like this?

or

Is it the 1157 bulbs that look like this?

The thing is... it is a pain in the a$$ to pull the bulb out.... plus I'm trying to order the bulbs via internet. So I don't want to spend 3 hours pulling it out and putting it back on.

The stock bulb I see inside my headlight housing is very very large.... compared to regular 168 bulbs. Any suggestions? (my lex is a 94 sc4)

Which light are we talking about? Cause if it's the green one in the headlight, that one takes like three seconds to remove. Twist a quarter turn and pull out. The bulbs are small, but are inside a plastic tube which might explain why you think it's bigger than it really is. Once again 168 and 194 both work and the sidemarker and parking light use the same sockets as well (which is why I circled it also).

lex400sc,

You say that both 168 and 194 work in the "green" location. Is one brighter than the other?

Nope. Both are dim and pretty much useless .

The 168 is 5watts and the 194 are about 3 watts. However, both are dim but, one bulb is brighter than the other.
