Eibach/Tokico setup cheap?
Hello,
Can someone help me out? I am interested in purchasing the Eibach springs w/the Tokico blue shocks for $400...is this cheap? They have been used for 2 months.
Actually, do I even need the shocks? I don't want a stiff ride. I prefer the stock ride. My car is a 98 with 80k miles on it. Will the shocks wear out soon?
I also heard that you can upgrade the blue Tokico shocks to adjustable ones with a reciept...is this true??
Thanks!!

I got the Eibach and Kyb for my sc4 for $550 total, then had it install for an additional $170( i think is the best deal). If you don't mind using used part then this is your green light. Just carefully inspect the struts for oil leakages. I remember somewhere in this forum someone posted to sell a whole set like you the one you're interested here for about 400 or a little bit more. But it never been used...so..do your search. It might pay off. Oh...while you're at the spring, mind as well replace the strut, they're that expensive but would save you some $ in the long run in case the old one go bad...then installation charge will come back to haunt u. If you don't want a stiff ride...don't do anything at all...hehehe...the ride will be more bumpy, but it pays off at corner, and high speed...you won't get those lift off feeling as u go beyond 100 through uneven road surface. Anyway...hope this help. Is your name Truc btw???
