Default Replacing parking light bulbs

Does anyone know how to change out the parking light bulbs on a 93 Lexus SC400 without dissassembling the entire engine?

uhm look where they are located. stick your hand in there. find the right bulb socket. twist and pull. and the bulb is out.

i think thats how its done. no engine disassembly required

i find it easiest to use both your pointer fingers (one from each hand), and twist furiously.

Just remove the headlight... Not that hard...

ALSO when removing the headlight put some masking tape on the bumper or take extra caution to not scratch up the bumper with the headlight's mounting pin

I just did mine yesterday, put in chrome bulbs instead of the amber. Was a tight area to work in, but only took me 5 mins.

Default Chrome bulbs

Touge I'd like to see those, do you have pics of it. I give up, can't get to them, even tried taking the airfilter box out to no avail so I'll take it to a shop and probably spend about $100, because nothing is cheap when it comes to Lexus. I tried, I failed, now I'll have to spend. Mechanics not my thing, just wasn't meant to be. Seems like everytime I try something myself, I end up creating double work or paying for something I messed up ( trust me sometimes it's been quite expensive too )trying to fix unless I have detailed instructions with diaghrams. However, I do appreciate the comments given by all on this thread.

dogman, This link may help, also remember to turn the casing counter clockwise to gain access to the bulb.

I really dislike the parking light bulb, I had taken them out on both my sc300s and did not replace the bulbs whatsoever, they provide no real light or function, besides illuminating the inside of the housing and showing off whatever dust has collected in there.

Those silverstar signals look cool, probably get those when mine go pop

I was thinking of doing the same. Taking out the parking light just seems that the car looks better without them glowing at night
