LS1 Lexus! Stopped by Pro Tuning Performance..

one of the guys at the shop did everything himself.. from dropping it in to custom headers...IT SOUNDS SICK!
they were talking to me about it, b/c i said i wanted to boost the 1uz and this is giving me another option
but, i told them, it comes down to price, if it's gonna cost me more to swap the ls1 than boost the 1uz, then i'll keep the 1uz..
all i want is 400whp.. to start
until i crave for more
i've found some ls1's for about 700-1200, but i'm sure itll add up pretty fast when it comes to actually swapping the motor.. the work he did said it was about 7G's...

he drove out of the parking lot, and it was still quiet.. but you can tell a v8 was in that is300!
and then he threw it into first gear on the street and lit up the tread and
!!! that car was SCREAMING! lolhe's building another ls1 is300 swap, i think he said he did that one, which is actually his car, in 3-4 days b/c he had to rush for the houston meet

i think his price quote was soo pricey b/c he said he put alot of time and work into fabricating the headers and tranny.. i would just to be simple and swap the motor with a cam and call it a day with a 400whp ls1 sc400 lol
I'm going to head up there again tomorrow to talk to him some more about pricing and i didnt get a video b/c my iphone died.. of course.. lol so i'll see if i can record the car also

why, i dont know. For 7 g's you can go really quick with a 2JZ. He's car after all said and done is only pushing 33x according to his dyno!! Thank you very much i'll keep my 2JZ an whop on LS1's all day.
