2jzge swap question...
I can't find any DIYs on swaps or anything. just for the same motor swap.
Okay just picked up a 2jzge longblock from a 94 lexus ??300... Everything is pretty much the same except the motor has a traction control system on the throttle body and the oil pan is towards the front instead of towards the back like my original 95 2jzge sc300 motor..
So can anyone tell me what car the 94 motor belongs to? Maybe the first gen GS300? or is the 94 SC300 motor a little different from my 95?
Please help would be very appreciated..

should be the same..swap the pan, remove the trac system, and drop it in. There arent going to be very many if any DIY's cause its like changing your underwear..take the old ones off, put the new ones on..just in your case, you need to swap pans and delete the trac.
Pretty much all of the non VVTi motors are the same. Some of them have different options. I also read somewhere that the GS motors are tuned down a little more than the SC motors, but I dont have any proof to back that up, so I could be wrong.

I am currently trying to swap out the whole bottom part of the block and installing a new clutch this week since i have the tranny off. I hope i can get it done by the end of this week.

why are you trying to force it? do you have a proper toyota factory service manual? if you get the proper instructions, its a piece of cake.
there are lots of picture threads of rebuild/tear down as well on this forum, perhaps search some NA+T builds and you will see how things come apart?
