That's a clean face, new model yes? Is that a flip out screen? Does 717 read MP3s now? You should put a pocket in that mesh screen space. If you just cover it up with a black plastic piece, the center console will look too plain. Trust me, I tried it. Nice pics though

I just noticed, you have the'92 with the green climate control display. First time I've seen that in an SC.
That mesh screen must be great for radiating heat, I know my receiver is burning hot after an hour trip.

do-luck sc I'm not sure what I'm going to do with that space ... or if ill just leave the mesh, it would be nice to have a pocket there though like lex400sc said, but no head problems this way
(I killed my kenwood 815 with heat)
I think my kenwood 717 is a 2001 model but no it doens't read mp3's.
it does have the flipping face which looks clean closed I think
damn lex400sc I didn't think anyone would notice but Your right..... when I replaced my climate control lights I just left the green sleeves on the 3 lights.

I am totally blown away, I have never seen an amber display on any J spec Soarer, I need one urgently (in full working order) can anyone get me a price from Toyota US or possibly from a breakers, good home waiting as my Becker Mexico is feeling out of place.
