98+ cluster in 92~96 sc300
I have the cold cathodes in my 97 sc300.. sadly i dont like them because of the orange needles.. i would rather have a OLT 92-95 LED blue needles and 32 white background.. if anyone knows if its possible to switch the orange needles out on the cold cathodes cluster that would be great. or else im willing to trade if someone wants to build me a harness to downgrade.
I have a stock 92 cluster that I am willing to trade pm me if you want
i have it for the 92-94. the 95-96 is basically the same. If you have a 95-96, im sure you can use the temp outside display option as the newer ones.

I must say now that I have both sets of plugs in front of me this swap is NOT as simple as matching colors. If you attempt to match colors and hope for the best then you will burn components. FYI, I am labeling both sets of plugs to match their respective diagrams and then I'll proceed to solder the new plugs to their matching counterpart on the vehicle dash loom.

fedex kinkos should be able to scan an image for you onto a file. But thats prob a little bit of a mission just to help out LoL....

taking pics will not help anyone if the conversion has already been done. If one simply matches up colors, good luck. Each wire is diff. Only a few are the same from what I remember

If you have a high mega pixel camera, it'll do a nice enough job of reproducing your documents.
Yes, I agree... a lot more work to do here besides matching the colors of the wires.
I'm going to go through with Stay-Con connectors and merge the two harnesses and once it's all good... go back, remove and solder the junctions.

Send a message to Agila i heard he has a guy that can wire up the harness for you. Or you can e-mail Dr.Tweak I just e-mailed him a few days ago and he told me they can do this service
Hey guys, I'll be doing this upgrade as well by the time of Jan. I already have the 98 cluster and its connections. You also need a complete harness from a pre 97. Just incase you ruin the one you have.
Thanks for the info but i know im not going to like theire prices. I dont mind doing it myself just need the diagrams.
