Unfortunately, I'm a 92, so I don't have ext temp. MPG, AVG MPG, AVG MPH, and the E/T timer all that works. So on my car, it doesn't go to the external temp at all.

i bought my 97 sc400 and it came with the gated shifter cluster. my temp guage jumps up and down and i have a
po500 code it be that the the owner before me might of mixed something up when doing the mod. Ive read the whole thread and it says that the speedo is read off the abs sensors. could i just install the 97 cluster with no problem our i have rewire it back to the 97 cluster?

sorry to bump a old thread but have a couple of questions

I have a 97 sc300 , i will be going to a full ge vvti built setup and to simplfy wiring going to switch to a 98-00 wire harness so everything is plug and play .

will the tach on my 97 cluster work using a 98 -00 harness seeing that i am now going to be vvti cop setup using a iginitor as opposed to dizzy

also will speedo work as it should
