Any OEM Lexus 3 spoke steering wheel is an upgrade on our cars. Our 4 spoke brown pillows are the ugliest things on our cars.

 

I would pass. You can get better pricing on ebay.

I remember picking up my IS300 wheel for $40 shipped and Celica airbag for $125 shipped (IS300 airbags were near $200 shipped)...

It looks 1x10^7235923 times better than that stock 4 spoke one.

 

Yes $300 is about right for the wheel and bag. Others are giving you options on buying not the same thing for cheaper (toyota bags, etc) , but you asked about that bag and that wheel and that's not an unreasonable price. I'd attempt to find one for $250, but $300 isn't getting hosed on an IS airbag. Gotta pay for the "L". The steering wheel is cheap.

 

If you buy an is300 wheel and airbag, would you need to buy the airbag adaptor to make it work on the sc?

 

I have the same steering wheel setup. $300 is about what i paid. I got the adapter so the airbag light wont show up which was an extra 20 bucks. If you also want the cruise control you can swap it with the one from the old steering wheel. I havent done mine yet but i will soon.

 

I dunno wtf you guys are smoking saying the IS wheel doesnt look that good...

I couldnt be happier with the wheel...its smaller, much more comfortable, looks like 10x better than the stock wheel, and best of all, its OEM not some cheap aftermarket crap. Its also great cause it doesnt stand out so much and looks like it came from the factory that way...

 

man that steering wheel looks great! i originaly wanted an IS300 steering wheel. but couldnt find one anyware. so i just got a celica GTS steering wheel and looks ok.

 

evileagle, where did you get your wheel from ??

 

I thought the IS300 was dual stage. With an adapter, wouldnt the bag still be dual stage so it would be inoperable by the single stage system?
