Default Any prep work before tinting my windows?

I'm getting my windows tinted this weekend. Need I clean my windows beforehand? what other prep work should i do.
It's going to be done at a professional shop and it'll be lifetime guarenteed.

ALSO, i'm trying to change my headlight bulbs but can't get the original bulb out of the housing. it seems like it's screwed in. BTW< Thanks to you guys, i was able to change my fog lights all by myself

Well pertaining to Legend's questions, vulaevu did a pretty thorough job answering everything, so not much to add there.

As far as clear corners for cheap? The only solution there is is to make them yourself. Do a search on it, you get really good results for VERY CHEAP. And not a lot of work to it either.

Yep...like lex400sc said...you can't do these clear corners much cheaper than by doing it yourself...
I think www.clearcorners.com sells them for $100 but you have to send in your stock orange ones...

The real JDM ones which i got were about $150 and I think by far look the best

thanks for your answers.
regarding the headlights. is it because i have a '97? because that damn thing JUST WONT turn!
in fact, the bulb's end (where it connects to the power plug), is metallic rather than plastic like my HID bulbs. i swear this thing is 'screwed in', i'll take a pix if u guys still dont believe me =)

P.S. does our SC comes with some tint stock?
because it seems like they are a bit dark, and if so, would the tint shop charge me more for removing it?

There is a little bit of tint on the rear windows, but I wouldn't remove them. Removal might screw with the defroster leads. You don't turn the metal ring part. That is fixed in place with three screws. You start to turn the bulb end where the rounded plastic starts. Twist counter-clockwise.

If you are getting your windows tinted by a professional I wouldn't worry about cleaning them. They will do that for you. Tint on windows exaggerates dirt so you can spot it very easily. That is why they always clean them first. No prep work has to be done but I would suggest removing any stickers on the inside of the windows that would be tinted. Also if you have a 3rd brakelight and want them to tint behind that you can remove it yourself so the shop doesn't charge you extra to do that.

i got the tint done. damn, the shop was actually ghetto as hell. how do i know if it's done well?
i was a bit disappointed at first, seeing tiny bubbles? of some sort. but the shop was like, that's just waiting for it to dry.
and i gota wait 3 days b4 i can roll down the window.
does that seem right?
also, can i still use stoner's invisible glass on the tint? the shop said no

The bubbles disappear when the paste dries. The basking time depends on the heat. If you live in a cold area it may be 4 days, if you live in a warm or sunny area about 2. Tint shops are pretty ghetto because you don't really need anything to make a tint shop. Just a roll of tint, a bucket of adhesive, a squeegee, and a heat lamp.

yah, while its been hot this weekend, i've left the car in the garage. i guess if i drove it it'd have dried faster.
i had to get 20% tint ALL AROUND.
which is illegal in VA. but the only choices were 20% or 35% (which is 2 light).
they had previously told me they could do ANY %. but when i went they didnt have it.
the place was ghetto enuff i had 2 think twice about leaving my car there w/ strangers.
i'll post pix soon enuff.
meanwhile, how do i go about cleaning the inside?
only water and a towel?...

Don't touch the insides! Let them dry a full week before you start handling your windows and cleaning them. Most of those "water stains" will disappear. Man if they didn't even have all the tint percentages in stock, that must be a ghetto shop. Mine was pretty professional, at least they had all percentages available in stock in all three types of tint. The dude was cool, he let me watch him the whole time and we were talking about cars while I was there. Hell I even got a free can of beer out of it!
