the gated shifter you're talking about is for the newer 5speed automatic transmissions. You have a 4 speed. they're 2 different trannies. search through previous posts... I'm getting a deja vu sense here.

I'm not positive, but I don't think it can be done easily. (Anyone else got inupt/backup?)

Use the search botton @ the top.

Oh yea... and put a turbo on your car, then you'll forget all about wanting a wood shifter

You're kidding, right?

Dude, you need to chill out and lighten up.

Asking for help and then flaming people for being part of a community is ridiculous.

Plus it helps not to start a wood shifter **** thread in the engine forum, and I was just funnin' man, I spend hours every week giving advice to ppl on this forum, and you'll meet some great, intelligent, and fast ppl here, but if a lil' fun scares you back to GM, then, ... bye....

Ah, a set of b@lls, now I find myself liking you. Please give us some details on the big block Vette, but yeah, we've got a couple-two-tree guys in your neck of the woods that would be glad to line up. Since I don't like to speak for others, i'll let them take over from here. Jeff, Steven, Arthur?

lex, im beginning to like you also.i want to turn this 300 into a street bad boy, but, i had 1989 supra turbo and it gave me nothing but problems... the straight six is a marvelous engine, but turbo is a risk from a daily use standpoint. bullit proof, i dont know is there any difference from the supra turbo to the lexus turbo....if i offended any one tough s@ht.... that was a joke... k
