SC Exhaust Thread
Any and all suggestions for axle-backs to replace my stock '92 mufflers and exhaust tips are welcomed. Have looked at a lot of pictures and chased several links to web sites but no obvious winners. Some of the ones I really liked have been discontinued.
Budget is around $1000 or less if feasible. Three inch chrome tips that have to come out the rear body kit a bit longer than the stock ones.....
Thanks for your advice in advance....

The Vibrant Performance mufflers referenced above are still available. The tips you'll likely have to source separately.
Thanks,

Here's an updated video of the Fujitsubo: Legalis-R Exhaust on the SC300.
It really is a quiet exhaust, I up'ed the volume a lil' just so you could hear the note even ...
It's a really nice sound, but I'd like it to be a bit more aggressive; a bit throatier; so Im considering deleting the cat, and runnin' larger pipes in the front - same diameter as the Legalis.

Heres mine:
Single 3" mandrel bent straight pipe exhaust (resonators and mufflers deleted)
3" MK4 SS midpipe (cat delete)

Il get a vid a soon as the 1j is wired up and plumbed.

Ended up fairly conservative opting for Magnaflow mufflers but with 4" stainless steel tips in order to fill the body kit cut outs. Sounds very similar to the stock mufflers but have to say "smoother" in the brief drive home from the shop today....

So, what are you planning to do when you have to get the car smogged??? If you are turning it into a race track only haul on a trailer car that is cool.... Drive it on the street (even in Bakersfield) and not sure how you plan to avoid the law.....
