Unhappy Accident..

SO after working on my all spring break to pretty her up.. I just got into an accident earlier today around 1pm.

I was on the 605 going to the 10. There was some traffic on the switch to the 10 so I pulled all the way over to the right lane and came to a slow stop. Maybe 30 seconds later, WHAM. I am knocked forward, sunglasses fly off my face and land in the cluster. I am disoriented then, I'm embarrassed to say I came out of the car screaming my head off. All I could think about was how I just got the damn car.

I ran over to the lady behind me and asked her if she was all right. She told me to call 911 ASAP which I did.

Turns out, 3 other cars were involved in the accident. I was first in line, there was a lady behind me in a Hyundai sedan, and Nissan pickup behind her, and a pretty new Mercedes at the end. After we all pulled over to the shoulder we assessed the damage and I talked to the guy in the pickup. He basically told me the guy behind him was flying and didn't stop in time, plowing into the pickup.

The Benz was destroyeedd.. the hood crumpled and the whole engine bay was just.. destroyed. It was leaking all over the place. I checked out the guy's pick up and the benz had pretty much gone under and took out all the rear suspension on the Nissan. The Nissan had then plowed in the back of the Hyundai, crumpling the whole rear, and in turn she was pushed into the back of my car.

ANyway.. here's the car. I had the least damage; I was the only one able to drive away, all the others had to be towed.

The trunk is smashed, the tails are cracked in some places, the bumper is crunched, crash bar smashed, rear panel pushed in pretty far, and the quarter panels are showing some slight ripples.

Luckily I could still open my trunk since I had some stuff back there.

Looking at the bright side I'm pretty much ok.. no real injuries, airbag stayed intact. I'm just really sore in the back and this has just put a huge damper on the rest of my spring break. hopefully they can straighten everything out and gimme a new paint job.

Luckily it looks repairable. Hopefully the others had insurance. Sorry to hear.

And you were in the front of a multiple car accident, it would make insurance on your side much easier.

Glad you're okay, that's the most important thing. Judging by the ripples in the quarters, though, my guess would be that the car is totalled. There's definitely some frame tweakage going on under there. You'll have to get it on a frame machine to know for sure, of course, but I don't think it's salvageable.

This is a horrible year for scs. Looks like they are all crashing.

Uhm, honda and toyota auto dismantling (might be honda and toyo) in the long beach area, Wilmington i think. Had a black 97 sc400. If i rmb right it was a front end collision so it still had its rear stuff like trunk with spoiler and bumper. Just yellowpage.com auto dismantling and scroll down till u find it.
