Thanks for the kind words fellas.

Tomorrow I'll be taking my car into get inspected and see what the estimate is for the damage. After looking at it I really think it can be fixed. Plus with a paint job I'll be able to shave the emblems and cut out the teeth of my front bumper. Hopefully the estimate will be pretty high, then I can just get the check and get it fixed somewhere cheaper.

My back is starting to feel better but my neck's acting up so I'll have to talk to the adjuster about the option of physical therapy. School's starting tomorrow

Also, I made a new sig to cheer myself up. LOL (not bad for Paint right? I don't know how to use Photoshop ><)

See a chiropractor for sure. When I got rearended in my Mustang a few years back (S10 4x4 at about 45mph, I was stopped), I had to get my neck cracked a few times but was back to normal in short order. Definitely worth a visit. You gotta realign those bones and ligaments or you'll be a hurtin' unit for a long time.

just goes to show you, people with expensive *** cars think they have the right to drive 30 mph faster than the "regular" people. Down here in VA, if you are on a highway and someone blows by you, you can bet its a ****tard in a BMW or Acura.

Just got a call from the estimator.. looks like its going to be a total loss.

I'm going to go pick up the car right now. I'm planning on keeping her under a 'salvage' title' pending on how much they are going to give me. This friggin' blows.

If you know any of this sorry just trying to be helpful to you or anyone that reads this...

DO NOT TAKE THE FIRST SETTLEMENT.

I learned to play the game with my 300ZXTT. They give you the BB or NADA bull****. Your insurance is not paying it right...it is the other persons insurance right? If it is yours you might be limited a little since you do not want them to pay it all out and drop you

Start doing your research on what your car is going for in market value. Find anything that shows any mods you have on the car or any work that was done on the car. Show how the condition was superior. Since you just bought it I would show how much you paid for it if they are a good bit lower.

DO NOT TELL THEM YOU ARE BUYING THE CAR BACK!!! They will use this to lower the price since they know you are going to fix or sell the parts and get more money.

You have to think that when they are going to put a price together for the car they are doing it in the idea that you are loosing it all. The engine, mufflers, suspension, WHEELS, HIDs, ect.

Thanks for the advice but the estimator already knows I plan on purchasing the car back. I had to go pick it up today.. it was either that or let them take it to their 'total loss' center. I felt more comfortable having the car back. My bill of sale unfortunately shows a lower price than I actually paid. I will negotiate with them on the price given to me. The reason why my insurance are being up tight right now is
1. they still don't know if I was at fault
2. they are paying for everything now, and then collecting from the other insurance company pending I am innocent

It sucks right now trying to deal with everything and school just starting. I'm just going to take my car back up to LA with me and enjoy her while I can. I'll wait on the call from them to see how much they are giving me and I'll go from there. I already researched KBB values and I have all the receipts of the modifications totally $10k+. I just hope everything goes all right.
