ok, so i have searched for days now and cant find what i need. Well not all of it at least. My alternator problem will be fixed with the new one being shipped. The climate control was fixed but i keep blowing the cig fuse, and no metal or dime is in the cig lighter. A new problem arised where when i turn my car off all the electronics stay on when i remove the key, even the head lights. On top of that the electronics and headlights (which i keep in auto mode) will turn on with the keys in my hand and the doors locked as im standing out side. That will happen on ocassion. I have to resort to disconnecting the negative terminal when i park the car! Can anyone help me por favor!!!! with a cherry on top!!

 

what's the history of the electrical work on the car, your going to have to look over everything that wasn't factory stock

 

All the wiring is stock, except for the radio. I think the previouse owner had an aftermarket one but it was stolen from the car and the hvac/radio wires are a little mutulated. I havent had any problems with it since i bought it about 1.5 years ago!

is your car lowered? i lowered my sc and chopped up the wiring harness in the driver side fender. i was having many of the same problems as you.

 

yes my car is lowered on supra struts with bg 2" drop springs. Last time i checked though i still had my inner fender alive. is the inner fender covering the wires?

 

yea the inner fender covers the wires and the harrness in in a plastic case thing. when mine got ripped my inner fender was ripped to shreds

 

it might be stupid but have u checked all your fuses

 

yes all fuses are ok. i have monday off so ill pull the inner fender off then. it is all rubbed to hell though!

so, as mentioned earlier i pulled off the wheel and whudda know. It finally ate through the inner fender. It was only 3 wires not completely chewed in half but visible loose wire strands. My guess is they touched metal and grounded blowing my cig fuse and or turning on my electronics at random. I shut the hood the other day and everything turned on, except the motor. So im making some brackets to move it higher on the outter lip area. im just to big to reach under and disconnect the harness and my girl is car retarded. Ill post back and let you know if all is well! Thanks for the help everyone.
