Default Help me get my stock stereo working

Guys,

Maybe someone can help me here. For some reason my stock radio isn't turning on. This is what I have tried.

Switched out radio to a different radio
Switched out climate/volume control plug
Checked 20a fuse under hood
Checked 7.5a fuse in kick panel

The climate control is working, just not stereo. By not working, I mean not even turning on. All plugs were securely connected.

Anyone give me some ideas on where to start or which wires to start checking? It is a 92 SC with Pioneer stereo.

Here is a picture of the back of the stereo, which seems to be different than the pictues Raine posted on his thread

And here is where I would expect the 12v switched wire to be...

I get 12v from the blue/yellow wire - is that supposed to be my switched? If so, then surely the radio would be getting power and turn on

Any help greatly appreciated.
Regards,
Jonny

Why was the harness cut? I'd double check those crimps to make sure everything is connected together.

No idea - it was like that when I got the car.

Yeah, I tried that and they all look good. Need to find out which of these wires is supposed to be 12v so I can start tracing that wire

Blue/yellow is your constant hot wire and gray is your switched wire, double check your fuses as well, just because a fuse doesn't say radio on it doesn't mean its not inline on that circuit, if the gray wire doesn't have 12v when the ignition is on pull all fuses and inspect one by one, i know that kinda sucks for the interior fuse panel cause of the location but if it gets you music itll be well worth it, let me know how it works out for yah...

Awesome, thank you sir. I was getting 12v through the hot, but wasn't getting anything on the switched (grey.)

Will check all my fuses Thank you sir,
