im looking to get 19x9.5 rear and 18x8.5 in front +35 offset for rear and run 265/35/19 235/35/18 how much can i drop it with out rub?
i dont really wanna roll fenders so please feel free to post pix of 19" rear wheels thanx
any suggestions??/
you'll probably have to roll or shave the fenders. my 275/30/19s are 19x9.5 with a 40mm and had a slight rub. i ended up shaving the fenders and they're fine now.
with those wheels you can go low and not have to worry about rubbing fender lip or bottoming out on the fender.
wheels were fitted with the car about 3ish inches of the ground. its pretty dumped. i had to relocate the chassis harness that runs through the driver fender well but other then that it doesnt rub at all.
this is my car with rota p45r time attacks in 18x9.5+30 all around with 255/35/18 tires.
the front needs a roll and the back doesnt nees any modification at all. actually needed a spacer to make it fit "right"
rear
front
overall
this is with stern st-2's. 18x9.5+20 with a 255/35/18 tire
only needed a mild roll. actually not even a roll. its more of heating the paint and using the rubber mallet to bend up the fender lip. very minor work. the car at the time was on tokico shocks and eibach springs. about a 1.25" drop from stock.
just remember...the lower you go the easier it will be to "tuck" more agressive wheels.
Why don't you want to roll fenders? Gives you the opportunity to run way better fitting wheels. But to each their own I suppose. I'm now running 19x10.5 all around with rolled fenders and 235s And my car is about 2.5 inches from the ground.
