there will be holes.

97 tails will fit into 92-96 years with slight coercing + grinding.

Damn, any inexpensive way to fill the holes? I could never find a touch up pen for GBM.

I'm curious about this as well; the former owner of my SC didn't feel the need to "fill in the holes," and it bothers me a tad. Of course, I have other fish to fry first... heheh

There will be uglyyy holes.. I just painted my emblems black to match my paint.. Can't even see they're there until you get withn a couple feet. I would say however you fill the holes.. the only way to do it right is repaint the trunk after you shave the emblems

You'll also need to install inline resistors to compensate for the differences in resistance between 92 and 97 tails to my knowledge - do a search it's been covered. If you don't you'll end up with indicators flashing too fast.

Sure there are tons of inexpensive ways to fill the holes but none that I would want seen on my car. Your best bet is to wait til you can get them done right (bodyshop) and have it repainted NOTE: your likely gonna have to blend the trunk into the rear quarters too.

With regard to the lights I think there was a recent thread on this very topic and they had issues that were described in a response on here. They thought it was a simple plug and play and its not. I would pull that thread up and see if its worth ur time and effort.
