At least be more descriptive in the thread title, you'll probably get specific answers to your question, instead of some crap because you made it sound like some big thing when all it was is a blemish on your shift ****.
Find a used one, project it and make your own top plate for the ****. If you've truly been searching for a few months (and not just looking on a forum) and you haven't found anyone who does this type of work, that should tell you something... either it's usually done without help, or there's no demand for that type of service; I'd guess the latter, since the usual way to fix a shift **** is to just replace it.
