has anyone tried it? I know the listing says its for the 2IS but I cant see why it wouldn't fit.. should just be a plug and play. has anyone tried it? want conformation before ordering

I think the leather boot has a clip that attaches to the shift ****. So if you used the shift **** from the 2IS, there won't be anything holding up the boot.

The thread is the same size as our car. I remember looking at that shift **** too. But decided against it because it doesnt go with my red stitching. I got a new boot and went with razo red stitch ball ****.
