Default Gas Pedal?

It seems like the my gas pedal is very "loose". When I say loose I mean like if you touch it very lightly it goes but there also seems to be some play on the pedal itself, almost like the part that you rest your foot on is going to fall off. Is there anyway to tighten this?

Is it worth bringing it to the dealer to get fixed or should I just let it go?

just do it yourself all you need is a small wrench and takes 2 minutes to do.
