Default Help have this hesitation on the gas pedal

So I noticed this the other day, when I step on the gas the pedal seems to stick a little before it goes down, like something is sticking in the linkage, making it harder for a smooth start from a stop.
I'm I explaining this right?

thanks

check for codes, then search, then search some more

alternatively your throttle body could be gummed up and sticky, but searching is best

Did you ever change your valve cover that was cracked? If so maybe you bent something on the throttle body or the throttle cable might be getting caught up on something if it wasn't put back right. Check your floor mat, it could be folded up under the gas pedal.

yes got that fixed thanks, I lube the linkage in the car and it seems to make it a little better.
