Looks like other threads point to PS pump or fluid. Looks like issue potentially resolved.

just did mine. not sure if it did anything but it was easily 2 full turn loose from 100ft/lbs

Has this helped anyone else out lately? Was working on a buddies '04 GS430 last night and it reminded me of these good old days.

I'm going to check mine today. My 95 SC400 has 241,000 miles on it and I have a lot of popping and creaking from the front end. UpInTheLex I will post my findings later.

Relatively new owner of a 92 SC400. Found this thread after experiencing some of the same symptoms. Nothing bad but these noises were annoying.

Had these bolts tightened as well as a loose heatshield taken care of and sheesh, it's so quiet now. Barely a peep from the front. Thanks so much!
