Default seat memory

Anyone else having any problems with the seat memory?....as in not working at all? Apparently you're supposed to hear a *beep* when it's set to the position but i hear no such thing. I read the owner's manual and thought it would be simple enough..haha apparently i was wrong. Any suggestions?

your key has to be at acc i think then you can set it, you cant do it when the car is started or is turned off.

You forgot to mention the emergency brake indicator light must be illuminated.
On my 1994 SC300 five speed you can do anything you want with the memory as long as the the car is running or the acc lamp is on and the emergency brake indicator lamp is on, meaning a one-click pull on the e.b. handle(that first click still in the free play zone for me).

auto cars have to be in park and running or acc mode

5sp cars e-brake must be engaged(or at least e-brake light illuminating) and car running or in acc mode.

back in the day when i had the stock seat i would be driving and pull the ebrake one click and have the memory function set the seat just how i wanted it.

btw do a search. i know for sure i have personally commented on several threads duscussing exactly how to do it.

worst case scenario you take the positive battery terminal off and let electronics reset. then reconnect it. sometimes the memory ecu goes nuts.

just fyi: please never disconnect battery positive terminal when wanting to remove power from the system, whenever this is necessary...always do so by disconnected battery negative

+1 for seeing multiple threads with directions via forum search feature hehe
