Once you are happy with your seat setting, put the car in Park, take your foot off the brake pedel, press one finger on the set button and hold it there while pressing your second finger on L1 or L2 (up to you). You should hear a beep sound. That means the current seat setting is set (on L1 or L2, depending on your choice earlier).

To select the memory seat position, again put the car in Park, take your foot off thebrake pedel, and press L1 (or L2).

Remember it won't work if you do not have it in Park and off the brake pedel.

Thumbs up If you need a manual...

You can get it free from lexus.com. Just register your vehicle and then go to maintenance and request a manual. I did the same thing and got my manual for 2000 GS400, free of charge.
