Default Sensor On block

I need advice I'm taking out my motor, and theres the two sensors on the block I don't know what they are but the one the back (by cylinder 6 i belive). It's hard to fit you hand in there and take out the sensor so I can take out the harness. I think its by the starter and another round thing you gotta put your hand through......My hand won't fit Is there another way to take out this sensor?

I have no idea what sensor you are talking about.

why are you taking out the harness? Did someone tell you to?

Its easier to pull the harness out of the firewall and take it out attached to the motor.

That is a coolant temp sensor I believe

what type of work are you doing? Just cleaning up or getting ready for something big like a turbo?

unplug all the plugs that extend from the engine harness. you have to push down on the tabs to release them. a small screwdriver helps. the orange one is a bit tricky but all you have to do is flip up the top portion. i think you'll figure it out.

I disconnected the harness from the motor and just pulled the motor, but I also hardly have anything in my engine bay so everything was really easy to get to.

That's the number two knock sensor. It screws into the block and can be removed with some channel locks. Obviously, you don't need a lot of clamping force to turn it.

FWIW, the coolant sensor is on the head not the block.
