Default Question about Paint?

Hey guys I have yet another front bumper that needs painting. This time I don't have any friends to hook me up with free paint. I have done all the prep work myself. I need the bumper, one front fender and two large chips on the rear wheel arches fixed and painted. The car is Diamond white Pearl what should I expect to pay. I was quoted $700 by a local palce but that seems really high to me for just spraying paint and finishing. There is AERO body work to be done.

yeah I thought the $700 was a little high although I don't know what kind of work is required to fix the chips on my rear wheel arches.

For $700 I'd rather buy tools and paint and paint myself. I would pay $200 max since you prepped it.

the problem with DPW or any other pearl paint is that its a 3 stage paint process. you apply the base coat, then the pearl mix, and then clear. the thing is you have to blend the nexly painted parts with the rest of the car.

i was quoted by one of my buddies 750 bucks to paint the whole front end of the car. that includes both fenders, bumper, drivers door, fill holes for the trunk and paint....and bleanding everything. at this point i think i want to repaint the whole car since most of it needs some small work. 700 just for those parts is a lot, especially if you did all prep work yourself.

im thinking bmw alpine white on the whole car
