I need to make a modification to my car for a school project. Does anyone know a place where they weld and bend steel?
and would it be affordable? (under $250. since its only a intake)
you could build your own intake for less than $100. There are numerous BFI and custom intake threads. If you have a $250 budget, why don't you do an exhaust? That would have more of an impact - visually, aurally, and by sheer size imho.
I live in the Los Angeles Area.
and i have to do it by myself bcs its for my senior project.
Ive heard the BFI is the best intake but i need something self "engineered"
and for a exhaust i was thinking of doing a mid-pipe that deletes the headers CAT.
Yes, I would highly suggest building a BFI. This has proven more horsepower than an intake, plus it is cheaper. Unless you are going turbo, I see no need to spend money on an expensive intake. Then again, I'm not too sure what kind of school project you are doing.
