From what I always hear, everything is decent enough in those aside from the turbo itself. If you can afford to get that kit and pick out a different turbo (from somewhere other than ebay) you might be alright.

You get what you pay for....just remember that. Sometimes you can get lucky on ebay with things from individual sellers but from a kit perspective i'd be a little hesitant. I am sure you will have good and bad stories from people but i'd rather not play the odds game....

China does not necessarily mean bad. Most US based performance shops (and several other companies) have their goods mass produced in China. Reputable USA based performance shops have their kits manufactured by a GOOD Chinese mass-producer. There is a big difference in quality between a GOOD Chinese mass-producer and a "cheaper" Chinese mass-producer.

I've have the Chinese products in my hands, and I can say that if the item in question is an intercooler, then for the most part an owner is in the clear. Everything else, ehhhhh, a little sketchy. Chinese turbos.... you're crazy if you strap one of those on your car.

everyone has had quite a bit of success with mark's xspower turbo kits. check out www.clubna-t.com and look under the xs power section. No one seems to have any problems with the parts themselves.

To each his own, the whole industry is turning to chop suey anyways. Expect 0 techincal support, 0 product innovation, and 0 will of the real leaders in the industry to develope new products for the platforms that Chinatown merchants wh0re out. Whatever floats your boat I guess.
