Air Conditioning
Mine doesn't blink.
The pully spins, but I'm not sure the clutch is spinning too.
Clutch? Compressor? Simple recharge? Maybe tighten belt?
I'm not sure. It blows hot.
Right now, the outside temp is over 90 degrees. (F)
It doesn't appear to idle up when the AC is turned on. The owner said it blew cool...but it obviously doesn't.
I know a belt is reasonably loose, so perhaps that is why.
Scenario:
AC on full blast on COLD. Blows hot.
Doesn't seem to idle up when AC engages. Clutch also does not appear to move with pulley.
AC light works and stays solid when engaged, but does not flash indicating a problem.

to the OP:
you need to do a couple things...
1) get the system level tested and find out whats in it - 134 or 12...
hopefully if its been converted, it was done correctly and all the r-12 was removed... if not, you might have problems finding someone to work on the system as it would then be considered "contaminated" and any a/c equipment hooked up to it would then be contaminated...
2a) system is charged, compressor doesn't work - pressure switch or control unit problem
2b) system isn't charged - have it charged, add a/c dye, look for leaks... have leaks fixed, recharge system, good to go...
the a/c is easy to see if the clutch is engaging - simply look at the center part of the compressor pulley - if its stopped, clutch is freewheeling, if it spings, clutch is engaged...
and one other thing... if you don't know what you are doing, please don't attempt a/c work yourself - you will harm the atmosphere, and more directly related, you could kill a properly working compressor...
