I daily drive a Jeep Wrangler and I get the "Jeep wave" all the time. But the past few days I have been driving the Lexus around town and have been waved to by 2 older guys in SC's. Is there a "SC wave" like a "Jeep wave"?

Yesterday i was leaving our family owned dealer ship, i saw a car weaving in and out of traffic. I slowed down and moved over to the turning lane it was a sc with custom paint and wheels. He slowed down, gave me a thumbs up and smiled. I gave him the thumbs up as well. That was pretty cool

It is also a miata thing and a motorcycle thing. I would wave, but I feel if I waved at OLT, he would give me the finger

 

After putting in gas I was ready to leave and I saw someone pull up next to me in an SC as well and so I wave and say "nice car man!" as I am leaving he just looks at me awkwardly like im some idiot. So never again will I wave or whatever.

Anywho, one time i got a wave from another sc owner, so i kindly returned the gesture

 

I'm used to waving to supra owners when I owned one. so it's a habit that I do the same to sc owners.

 

I was ready to leave and was about to back out of a parking spot when another silver spruce sc300 parks next to me. I stop and said Hi and the guy had stunned and confused look on his face and I said "Hey, nice car!" and he said "Same to you. I was scared for a second because I thought I saw someone in my car when I thought I just pulled in" haha.

 

I would SO give you the index finger.

 

And I would be saying, "but I can't search while I drive"
