I have seen exactly one SC on the road during my five months of ownership. He and a Dodge Stealth were bobbing and weaving, cruising by at high speeds. I acknowledged his presence with a nod and a thumbs up. He did the same. I then proceeded to follow them and make up some serious time as I was running late to meet a friend at the casino in Detroit.

As for what is kosher, I have no idea. I anticipate not running into another SC for a while.

man, all i see are old non club lexus members...

or like chinese old women something like that.

 

I get the wave from time to time... or the occasional "stare at the car then at me and quickly look back to driving"... I don't look that intimidating do I?

 

some sc guy gave me a 2 thumbs up, one out the sunroof and another out the window so i gave him a wave. cool dude

 

I've had a few SC wave to me now. Younger people.

But what pisses me off the most....Chicago land 1st gen IS owners.
Always some stare down look...annoying

 

the only time i made i conact with another sc owner he gave me the thumbs up as i was thinking, woah, another sc in oshkosh, then i quickly gave him a thumbs up back

 

I'm surprised they have cars in Oshkosh...let alone Lexus SC's

 

Yea tried to say hi to a bald guy but no response. Start the trend i guess

at night there was only a few cars on the highway and some guy pulled up next to me in a SC300 and tried to race me before (kept speeding up slowing down). like he was intimidated i had a 400 or something that got me upset, but alas, all i did was just back off while he sped off down the highway. if someone gives me a thumbs up or waves at me i will be sure wave back but if everybody thinks like this, no one will end up waving at all lol.

 

Other SC drivers that I don't know look at me like I'm crazy or something.......and they always try to see the back if it's a 300 or 400. I was at gas station guy in a stock 400 was at the next pump he was like oh that's nice what is it a 400 I was like no it's a 300. He was like oh you got that "V6" I got that V8 mine is faster, I just kinda chuckled and let it go.

 

i was racing an eclipse when ths kid in this sc was going the opposite direction started honking his horn when he saw me launching on the eclipse ,some sc guys think jus because its a lexus they have to act snobby .but usually when i do see a sc i flash my lights most of them flash back if there not retired
