I installed a set yesterday from tha same seller. They did not come with new ball joints. I had to cut out the old ones from the struts. PITA. They also did dot come with retainers for the other end, I had to make the originals work.
The struts themselves look great and work fine. In fact the trunk would stay open with just one new strut installed, and the other side had a DEAD strut. They look excatly like the set installed in a how to thread on this forum

DOOD, I just did the EXACT same thing as you yesterday! I had to dremel the ball joint out of the old stock ones. What a pain! omg.
If you can find a seller that has the ball joint and clip included. Buy those instead.
I ordered those a couple weeks back and after receiving them, contacted the seller to ask him about the ball studs. He told me that he would send me a pair since I couldnt get my old ones off. Its been about 15 days now since he said he would send them to me so I emailed him again today, no response yet. If I dont have them by mid next week I'll probably leave him a negative feedback. The item is useless without the studs, I dont know why he doesnt just send them out with the struts.

I've been to the RockAuto site and done a variety of searches; but I'm certain if they still carry the trunk shocks anymore. Any other suggestions? Also is that a picture of your car by your name
