Question Door lock problem

Hey guys, i got a few problems with my sc and im lookin for advice. the drivers side door lock sticks. Like when i hit the automatic lock button inside the car and the remote button, only the passenger side unlocks/locks, and the driver's side moves but doesnt unlock/lock. Any advice please let me know!
P.S. - my seat memory doesnt work, could there be an easy fix while my door panel is taken off?

I have the same problem as you do but reversed, my passenger lock only moves but does not lock. My guess is the culprit is the vaccuum connection between the 2 locks.

The locks are actuated by motors, not vacuum.

If your lock twitches but never locks/unlocks, your motors are bad.

Get a new door lock/latch assembly at a junkyard or new at the dealer. That will cure what ails ya.

Seat memory button is probably not connected. That was why mine did not work. Apparently it is quite common, probably the person putting the panel back on forgets to reconnect the seat memory button wires.

Default door lock

It is funny because I have the same problem, but mine began doing it after I put in a new outer door handle on the driver door. ALL the doors lock but it is like the driver door does not get the message.. does each door have a seperate motor?

Yes, there is a door lock actuator on each door.
