Ok, so I am just about all done now with my system. Like the trunk layout? It sounds great, even with the factory head unit!

dude..a small suggestion...drill thru that little wood/carpet covvered stuff the amp is mounted on and run your wires thru it..or move the amps up and run them thru the little grates...just a little cleaner look imo...

 

One of my few complaints about the SC......Why is the tank in the center of the trunk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!??????????!!!!!!!!??????????
Makes it hard to get good sounds in the passenger section..But im sure that Solo is gettin' the job done!!

 

So you can fit 4 golf bags in the trunk, ? GT cruiser targeted at older guys when it came out.

 

Golf bags?...Dont own any ....Jus turned 25yrs old,i'll pick up golf after my knees give out from hoops....I just like larger trunks..im always packin around all kinds of stuff ( and the need to annoy the folks down the street with my stereo ) Plus I purchased the SC to be a 'daily' ...BUT,In a few weeks it'll be a weekend only car

 

I must agree. SC's are not the ideal car for spl due to the gas tank. Great job lof the layout of the JL amps. How is the single L7 working for you? How many watts are you running to it? I previously had a pair of 12" L7's myself. Had a bad experience, blew 3 separate woofers.

 

The jls work very nice. I am running 300 to the fronts, 300 to the rear and 500 to the sub. The L7 is ok for me, but others I know would want more bang.

A line driver helps alot since the stock head unit puts out such a weak signal.
