I just saw this trunk in the Gallery and it's pretty close to what I want. I need something that's clean, provides excellent , quality bass. I have two 12" Infinity Reference 1230 1200W subs, 2 Kicker 600W amps. I want to keep the spare and have the amps accessible.
V.I.P. Motorworks in San Mateo wants FIVE GRAND Sorry, but I'm not spending 5,000 to make my trunk pretty. Is it possible with $1000.00?

Unfortunately fabricating a trunk like that takes a looooooonnngggg time! The parts are the easy part, the positioning and the time it takes to make the trunk look like that is what costs so much. I would say 5k is a fair price. Now you can do something less expensive but if we want the best we gotta pay!
Darius, go to Auto Innovations in Hayward. They have done some of the best installations in the country and have done cars for some of our local CL members as well. The prices are fair, considering their work and the craftsmanship is first rate.
Look in just about any of the popular car audio magazines and you are likely to find their work. Most articles usually say where the work was done at.

Thanks Glen, I'll check them out. DO you know any of the CL members' screen names so I can take a look at their work and maybe send them a PM?
