Default 6 Bolt Main Pics (V8)

Curious as to what the mains look like. Anyone have a picture of the bottom of the engine??? It's awesome that these engines have 6 bolt main caps, as most American/European V8's have 4 bolt mains.

I thought most american engines/V8s had 2 bolt mains. I know the LT1 in my camaros had 2 bolt mains vs. the LT1s in the Vettes (4 bolt mains). Six bolt mains are very impressive. The 1UZ is a stout engine, especially when combined with the webbed block, forged internals and huge oil pickup. It's a gem!

I checked Lextreme.com and they didn't have any photos of the bottom end. There's got to be a pic somewhere - who know's maybe I'll have to yank the oil pan next oil change to check it out.

Yeah the stock bottom end is so bulletproof most ppl wouldn't have a reason to tear into it. Still curious how it's setup though.
