headlights????
#1
One of my headlights (the plastic covering that is) has become duller than the other and has a sorta yellow tint to it. I think i remember seeing a post a long time ago on what to do but i can't find it. Any suggestions???? Also, while I'm talking about headlights, what is the closest HID bulb that I can put in the SC (w/o burning the wiring) but w/o having to buy a HID kit?

The PIAA bulbs are probably the whitest/purplest standard bulb, but they are quite expensive at 60-70 bucks. We sell a boatload of the Hiper Industry bulbs at $35 and have no complaints. These are probably the best next to the PIAAs

Double, (not doubting u but just to make sure) r u sure that the PIAA or hipers won't melt the wires, blow a fuse, etc. b/c it seems like those things have happened to some people in this forum, although i dont think w/ the lights u r suggesting. W/ the PIAA's or Hipers, is the instillation the same as it would be w/ a reg. bulb.
P.S. Do u know how to take the headlights out from the body and how to get to the light bulbs?

The only time you will have problems is if you have oxidation on the terminals, which will cause resistance and make the connection heat up and melt.
To remove the h/l the only tricky part is there's 2 nuts that you need to reach from behind the inner fender liner. The rest is pretty straightforward, although you will need to be VERY careful not to scratch your bumper as you remove/install the h/l assembly.

do i have to remove the inner fender and do they just opo out (w/some effort) after those two bolts have been removed? Also, when i replaced a light in my tail lights, i just had to twist a ****, it popped out of the plastic cover, and then i just had to pull the bulb outta the socket. Is this the same for the headlights?
