Question Ignition mods

Does anyone have anything other than wimpy 5.5mm plug wires? wtf is up with that? Also has anyone changed the coils out or added an igntion box for hotter spark. Would it be possible to add a two aftermarket coils and an igntion box to the sc400?

Anything much larger than stock won't fit inside the factory wire channels, the Bosch are a bit larger(and longer)I found out the hard way, wouldn't recommend it unless you really really need it.

Good to know about the magnecors for the supra. Got a sc400 so it wont help me. I'm sure i can get a custom set of wires made...

True its not getting blown away but I'm planning exhuast mods/ecu tune soon so I'd like a hotter spark. Direct port nitrous and/or a supercharger is in the plan for down the road...

Thanks indypwr man. 8.8mm sounds really good to me. You don't remember what it ran you to have them made do you? was about 100 bucks?

i did everything myself man. pretty hard and i wont do it again...........hehehe
i used the stock clips (the ones that goes directly to spark plug) and opened them up so i can
slip the 8.8 wires. it will be difficult to do but it will work! just make sure you make them really tight
so that thy dont come off when you pull the plug wires out when changing spark plugs.
