I don't think there is a plug-in aftermarket changer for your factory SC300 headunit. What year is your SC? Lexus uses a Pioneer made 6 disc changer...not the best out there, but mine hasn't had any problems.
The problem may not be with the stock changer's capabilities, but your particular unit. Have you had it checked by a decent car audio shop? It may be a relatively inexpensive repair.
Granted my 98 GS has a newer unit than yours, but I've never had these kinds of problems, even with PC-burned disks, and I haven't seen the problem discussed on the forum.
im not sure what the diffrences are with a PC burned disks and normal bought disks but on an old JVC cd player i have they dont work either, i thinks that its just a cd with 0 tracks. have you thought about getting a new head unit and cd changer?
I notice you're using Eibach springs and from my experience that has a lot to do with your cd changer skipping.
I'm very in tune with my car so after changing the spring to Eibach pro my cd changer skip frequently.
Now I'm switching back to the manufacturer's spring.
Not only to cure the cd skipping but I just don't want to feel/hear every freaking rock or street imperfection as I drive daily
