if you get a pioneer indash aftermarket system i can change your gs changer to ip bus that the pioneer headunit will recognize. so you will still have the same glovebox changer and same magazine. i could send you a gs to pioneer converted changer ready to plug into your pioneer aftermarket for example avh-p7500 or redo your gs changer.

Is the same possible in a 1993 SC300? It's the Pioneer system, but older...

the 92 to 97 sc 300 has a panasonic made 12 disc cd changer . so even though the 2 diiferent sc systems are called pioneer and nakamichi the cd changer in both systems from 92 to97 was made by panasonic. there still is panasonic made equipment in the lower toyota line but that was the 1 and only ever in a lexus. the 98 to 2000 sc models all have pioneer made changers and the conversion to p[ioneer aftermarket would work in those years but not the 92 to 97 models with the matsu****a made 12 disc.

Default can a aftermarket head unit control stock

Was curious since everyone was inquiring on their system. Thanks.

What options do I have for adding aftermarket stereo system(s) to the stock Lexus hardware?

Question Would it work for my unit?

if you get a pioneer indash aftermarket system i can change your gs changer to ip bus that the pioneer headunit will recognize. so you will still have the same glovebox changer and same magazine. i could send you a gs to pioneer converted changer ready to plug into your pioneer aftermarket for example avh-p7500 or redo your gs changer.

I have 2000 GS400 and wanted to use the stock Pioneer changer with my pioneer headunit? I have the DVH-P5000MP dvd reciever. Would it work with that unit? Is it a plug and play piece or do you have to mess with the wiring in the stock changer? Where can I order this and how much would it cost to convert it? Thanks in advance for any help.
